ADAX Silo Management Power App: real-time notifications of silo stock movements

Power App is one of four components available on the Microsoft Power Platform that can be used to create custom business apps to streamline your processes. Our experts have developed this particular new application by moving screens from your Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP onto mobile devices for use by your site or silo managers.

Combined with your Microsoft ADAX COOP ERP, the ADAX Silo Management Power App for agricultural cooperatives can be used to see your cereal stocks in real time, and the stock quality, together with movements in and out of silo storage.

An application with simplified screens linked to the ADAX COOP ERP system

To provide full mobile access using a cell phone or tablet, we have built five screens using low-code methods. While the app is linked to ADAX COOP, users do not have to be users of that system, and they can obtain real-time information presented as a list or map depending on the site or silo queried:

Consult stock by storage cell (batches, lifecycles);
Storage cell details with the product stored, physical quantities and standardized quantities, storage occupancy rate;
History of stock movements from the cell, by stock type (pooled crops, reversals, transfers, trade, etc.);
Operations undertaken on the cell (treatment, cleaning, sampling, etc.);
Cell quality characteristics (average values): humidity, impurities, protein, specific weight and any other property in relation to the variety and species.

The ADAX Silo Management PowerApp provides real-time, easy-to-read ERP data to your operators in the field or technical sales representatives.

This combination of technologies, with Microsoft Dynamics 365 FinOps ERP, Power Apps and Bing or Google considerably improves workforce productivity while reducing development costs.

According to the latest Total Economic Impact report from Forrester Consulting, Power Apps support business transformation by helping to meet stiff operational challenges, reducing development costs by 74% and improving productivity by an average of 3 hours/week, giving 188% ROI over 3 years.
