The context and business issues of the project
This independent network specializing in the sale of building hardware has nearly 500 employees. Created in 1991 by Joseph Stive Lellouche, AFDB is in full expansion.
The group offers products in various fields such as building hardware and locksmithing, industrial supplies and tools, plumbing, sanitation, heating and air conditioning. It also offers various services such as the reproduction of security keys at the best price and in a few minutes.
Au Forum du Bâtiment has an ultra-modern logistics platform of 12,000 m2, located in Chambly and certified by the 14 001 standard, manages 35,000 references in stock, and nearly 5,000 parcels sent daily.
The choice of Microsoft ERP
with the ADAX Retail & Distribution solution
We realized that our existing IS was too limited to absorb our development and decided to replace it. Since 2009, we have chosen the ERP ADAX Retail & Distribution, which we acquired in its entirety for the following scope: purchasing, sales, stocks, finance and soon CRM, except for manufacturing.
After the launch of the project, we always call on TVH Consulting for expertise. However, we have our own internal teams that allow us to develop the ERP, but on very technical points or developments of the ADAX Retail & Distribution solution, the consultants remain available when necessary.
If tomorrow, Au Forum du Bâtiment were to consider migrating its ERP to Microsoft Dynamics 365, many questions would need to be answered regarding the benefits and risks that this could represent.
